The Palace of Versailles is formed by the central part and courtyards. In this part, we can find the King’s Rooms and the Queen’s room. These rooms were so immense that inside there were seven more rooms to receive visits and more rooms where the women of the court talked.
In the Palace you can also see the Hall of Mirrors, where the Treaty of Versailles was signed; in front of each window, there was a mirror, in total 357 mirrors! When the daylight entered, the room became more illuminated and the visitors were perplexed by such luminosity and colour.
Another part of the Palace of Versailles was the royal chapel, where religious ceremonies were held and outside statues of saints surround the garden.
In the Gardens of the Palace of Versailles, you can see numerous fountains with statues and different forms.
Finally, on the outskirts of the Palace of Versailles, we can find the Trianon, where Marie Antoinette relaxed from life in Versailles
